Michael Jace (born July 13, 1962 in Paterson, New Jersey) is an American actor who has appeared in many films. He co-starred in the film State of Play with Russell Crowe. Most people are familiar with him from his part as Los Angeles Police Officer Julien Lowe on the FX drama The Shield, where he plays a Christian who is tormented about his sexuality and struggles with his faith. On May 19, 2014, Jace was arrested and accused with the murder of his wife, April Jace, who was shot to death.
